About Dataset
The spatial dataset describes the navigation zones for shipping traffic in the Strait of Juan de Fuca, San Juan Islands, and the Strait of Georgia south of Vancouver. The features were digitized from NOAA nautical charts. Additional areas were digitized, included the approaches to Grays Harbor, the Columbia River, San Francisco Bay, and Long Beach.
